I so love knitting and creating my own patterns for scarves and berets!
Great choice for K nd loved the cute pic!
I'll try that pattern! I have some of that yarn but I've not used it yet. Love your knitting bear!
Could I borrow the book.

That explains a lot bears knitting those cute little clothes...
My daughter can knit me under the table. I have never managed the casting on....
I probably should have learned to knit. I tried once and the potholder I was trying to make turned out to look like a banana cover. LOL
Re the pack rat? Those 4 badges didn't take up much room all those years, Bear....LOL
A fun fur boa scarf, indeed!
Great knowledges about knitting!
"How to knit your stress away" : this is a good "recipe" because your female teddy bear seems
K ool !
Miss Yves
Wow, those scarves seem WAY cool, but I don't know how to knit. I've always admired people that do. PS I LOVE your free rice button! I try to play for at least a few minutes each day!
Knitting one-handed is impossible for me. I used to enjoy it and this pattern looks so simple even I could have done it.
I've never learned to knit but I'd like to someday. My husband would not be happy to learn that I want to learn yet ANOTHER crafty way to spend money! : D
What a lovely bear Kathleen is! My two daughters used to knit and I had to knit socks for my exam as a teacher. It was the only subject I failed, which was not so terrible, for a year later I could do it again and I got my appointment anyway. The second time I passed.
oh wow----"purl one, ----bind up---did ya know your eyes light up when your talking "dirty"? (lol)
So beautiful post for letter "K".
Knitting is my favourite hobby and I can't believe my self that I didn't put it for the "K" word!!!
What a great idea!
Nice choice for K and it teaches something too!
My mother used to knit and taught me as a girl. I lost interest when my tension wasn't what it should be. I so wish I had kept at it. Now she is gone and I've no one to teach me.
Do you know I think even I could manage that pattern!
She is adorable! I love to knit - I remember my Gram teaching me all those years ago!
Knitting!! I didn't think of knitting. Possibly because I'm just not a knitter. I was given one of those knit-your-own-scarf kits about two years ago and it isn't finished yet!
Love the picture!
Never did learn hot to knit. My freind does the most wondeful jumpers. Lovely choice.
Kathleen looks so comfy and relaxed there with her knitting needles. Learning how to knit is one of my goals this winter!
I used to knit and I found patterns more interesting to do .. tho often I would be counting and Husband would kibbitz and confuse me ... admittedly I am easy to confuse
:-Daryl
As always, a beautiful post. Love your bear:)
Kathleen Kennedy is gorgeous! I have knitted many scarves with this type of yarn - so easy to do.
Beautiful photo. I know basiics of knitting but really haven't knitted many articles. I wish I could learn more.
Knitting! Great idea for 'k'. And thanks for the pattern. I know I have some eye lash yarn in my stash too. What fun.
Happy Wednesday!

Thanks for Kathleen Kennedy and her knitting...not to mention the scarf pattern...will have to give it a go...glad my Mum taught me to knit , not that I do much of it! I now try to encourage the grandchildren too!
Thanks for your visit to my post...I love all your bears...so cute..and the stories too...love the tea for a stuffed head cartoon..very clever!
My garbage bin has just lost its lid...but all I have to do is put it out on the footpath (sidewalk) and the council will come and replace it...how is that for service? Lucky me!
Annie
Hi!
Your "K" is great. But, sorry to say I can't knit. But I do crochet! Take Care!!
Sherrie
My MIL taught me about 3 years ago but I can't keep consistent tension and then I lose count. I'm a failure. wahhhhh.....I want to be able to knit things to give away.
That Kennedy Klan is so Kute!

Great choice for K. I learnt to knit many years ago when in the cubs but I've long forgotten the art.
I wish I could knit. I tried it once, but it took me too long to not get very far, so I stopped. Maybe I'll try again someday.
Ah, I just LOVE this bear! Reminds me of my mother who used to knit a lot for my sisters, me, and my two girls.
I never learn to knit but hope to sometime.
Thanks for stopping in earlier.
Your posts are so cute!! Kathleen is keeping busy!!!
cute as always, thanks for sharing.
a knitting teddy! is her nickname Purl? Definitely the cutest K post.
I will say 'hey' to Mr. Kelly the sandwich shop man for you. He'll be thrilled.
LOL at Tash's comment! Pearl lol!
I can not knit, despite the many times mum tried to teach me. I think she despaired!
"Louis" has great difficulty knitting - something about difficulty with hooves and those needles combining with a lack of opposable thumbs. Be that as it may, Klever "K" - post!
Thanks so much for posting the instructions, uh, could you post how to cast on - I forget:)
I made a baby sweater in 1967 for our first born - it's still sitting in a box, wrapped in tissue as I didn't know how to "put the pieces together".
Ah yes, that would have been my mother -- knitting miles of stuff that only a knot scientist could ever figure out...
Bear Kathleen is a cutie! Shame on me I can't knit!! ut I'll pas this recipe on my mom, she makes som basic patterns.
Kisses!!
