Thank you to everyone for your kind comments and e-mails.Monsieur Bear is now home after having a heart attack. Every thing looks much better now this week.
The prognosis looks good and I am so grateful to all the medical staff and the paramedics who have helped us get through this crisis.
I will be suspending my blogging for the time being but we again want to thank EVERYONE for your kind comments and well wishes.
When I have more time (and energy) I will be back blogging.

I hadn't checked here in awhile; not the sort of news I'd wished to see. I'm glad things are going well--these are not your father's heart attacks anymore now that so much is done to minimize the damage and promote heart healing. My best wishes to you and Mr. Bear during the recovery.

So pleased to hear he is on the mend after such a traumatic experience for both of you. Like all your readers, I'll miss your blog, but for the time being we all understand that Monsieur Bear must take priority and you'll be in everyone's thoughts until you're able to post again.

Such a day we all dread. My neighbor is recuperating from quadruple bypass...but really doing well in his 70's. I am sure you husband will recuperate fast under your tender care. I send a big (but gentle) bear hug to you both.
Remember to stay calm and somewhat relaxed,these things take a big heart toll on the caregiver as well,and I am so pleased that he is doing well..wiil be praying and thinking of you sandy
