I am now able to lift a 1lb weight to almost shoulder level.
My problem seems to be that whatever movement that I do brings on swelling down the arm and into the neck area.
At times the swelling from the shoulder is so bad that I have difficulty swallowing.
I have an appointment on Oct 9th with my orthopaedic surgeon so will find out then whether hopefully this is temporary or if it is something that I am going to have to live with.

Just read your last post about your house--oh my, no wonder you are wanting to sell. I wish you much luck in selling it, and I hope you find a new place that is problem-free!
